5.2. My Thoughts about Chemical Action and Brushing-up Liquid

I presume the cause of impossible for re-drawing is this gum arabic which the fiber of plywood board is catching still.

The plywood board is not metal; therefore, it seems not oxidized by arabic acid. I surmise plywoodgraphy does not give chemical reaction on the surface of the printing plate same as the version of the polyester/frosted glass.

However, plywood board is porous like the limestone. The coat by sizing is not perfect and gum arabic solution has soaked enough through the plywood board still. It could be suggested that arabic acid is still kept into the fiber of wood after washing gum arabic off the surface of the plywood board.

It needs resolving and removing this gum arabic kept into the fiber of wood for re-drawing. I need to research more about the structure and the function of gum arabic for finding a way of re-drawing.

Also it could be suggested that it needs resolving size for returning the plywood board to first condition before first drawing. For fruits jelly, gelatin does not set when cooked with the fruits including protease; pineapple, papaya, kiwifruit, and the like; therefore, I focus on whether protease is able to resolve size.
