5.7. Waterless Plywoodgraphy
Making waterless plywoodgraphs by using the waterless lithographic process developed by Professor Nik Semenoff who is from Canada is possible. However, also it cannot re-draw.
I surmise to sandwich something water-soluble between plywood board and silicon; applying something on plywood board before applying silicon: for example gum arabic, starch paste and the like.
Waterless Lithography: Apply silicon instead of gum arabic for making the printing plate and use special ink of rubber-base which does not stick to silicon for printing, thereby may print without water. This technique developed for high-quality printing. It does not get deterioration ink by water and the printing plate does not break easily.
I did not hold the need of this technique long time but I might need it for my recent works which is printed on wax paper now.
